A Slightly More Ethical Ad Block for YouTube, maybe

I know that Google/YouTube has been “cracking” down on viewers blocking ads on YouTube, and I’m thankful/greatful to say that Brave has done an amazing job at “staying ahead” or “keeping up” with the updates… The only “side effect” I’ve had so far is that when I watch YouTube on a device that does not block ads I get crazy amounts of non-skipable ads, and maybe it’s just because I haven’t watched ads on a regular basis in a while, they seem to be longer ads as well…

My idea/thought would be to alow users to opt in, on a per video baseis, per channel basis, or whole youtube site, where video 8ads are loaded and played… in the background, muted… So the YouTube servers will see and record that the ad was played and watched from beginning to end… Lower third ads are shown, in the background…
So as a user I get to experience an ad-free YouTube, but both YouTube and the Creator are still supported…

Or… Or… and I’m Just “brainstorming”/“spitballing” here… (And I know this would be WAY more complicated)
Have an option to “DVR”/TimeShift the ads to the end of the video, or even to the end of my viewing session, and play them all at once…
And shift the lower thirds ad to display in the webpage, and not over the video…

All of this might take considerably more processing power than a standard YouTube page would, and obviously the data-badwith would be “higher” than no ads, but still not higher than watching it with the ads…

This probably wouldn’t make the corporations that paid for the ads happy, but maybe it would be possible to configure it in such a way that they can’t tell?
