5 Days of Ads With No Rewards

Description of the issue:

Since the 9th of this month, I have been receiving ads via the browser, but rewards have been “frozen.” I’ve done basic troubleshooting steps, yet nothing seems to get the reward counter moving. Rewards history is showing the 9th as the last day I have received ads, despite using the browser for 8+ hours a day every day since then.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave browser
  2. Browse normally
  3. View ads at rate of 5/hr

Expected result:

Ad history updates with most recent ads viewed, earnings increase after viewing ads.

Version 1.22.72 Chromium: 89.0.4389.128 (Official Build) (x86_64)

You are correct. I relaunched the browser with the new version (1.24.84). This didn’t seem to resolve the issue at hand, though. I’m viewing ads and rewards are still stuck in place with no update to 7 day ad history after viewing them.

do you use/have used a vpn?

I haven’t used a VPN on this device, no.

for the moment the only thing I can advice you is to clear the browser cache with ccleaner or similar tool.

and also create a new profile, enable the rewards them and check if the system works correctly there.
