Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Brave in windowed mode.
  2. Go to YouTube.
  3. Switch to fullscreen (via the green expand button or shortcut).
  4. Observe if the tab bar and address/search bar disappear.
  5. Switch back to windowed, then fullscreen again — they sometimes reappear.

Expected Behaviour:
The tab and address bar should remain visible or appear in full-screen mode.

Actual Behaviour:
They often vanish completely in full screen, especially on YouTube. This affects usability and requires constant toggling to fix.

Troubleshooting Done:

  • Verified issue only occurs in Brave, not Safari/Chrome.
  • Occurs regardless of whether extensions are enabled or disabled.
  • Issue persists after clearing the cache and restarting the browser.
