Your clock is ahead

I cannot log into several website due to the following error:

Your clock is ahead
A private connection to (website) can’t be established because your computer’s date and time (Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 3:15:15 PM) are incorrect.
NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
To establish a secure connection, your clock needs to be set correctly. This is because the certificates that websites use to identify themselves are only valid for specific periods of time. Since your device’s clock is incorrect, Brave cannot verify these certificates.

My clock is not ahead. I’ve gone through the motions of resetting it anyway and it doesn’t solve the problem.

I’m running Brave V1.25.72

On a MacBook Pro desktop

OS X 10.11.6

Yeah, recently reported. https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/16137

We’re still investigating

I’m experiencing the “Your clock is ahead” issue as well. I’ve verified the clock is correct, down to the second. Has the cause of this error been identified? I’d appreciate some feedback. (My apologies if this message didn’t reach the Brave tech support team…this is my first attempt at reaching out in the Brave community!) I’m running macOS Big Sur version 11.4 and Brave
Version 1.25.73 Chromium: 91.0.4472.106 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Looking forward to an answer. Thanks.

Same problem on this website: https://downloads.tracefree.com/TraceFree/index.htm

I am facing the same issue when I try to download from the pdfdrive.com
not just any random book, but it says Clock Error for any download I try to do.

Almost a month later and this is still a very pressing issue. Has anyone looked into this yet?
