It seems this issue is related to SSL. Although some of my SSL certs were not set to renew for a number of days/weeks once I performed a renewal the time issue was resolved. This issue did not affect Firefox or Chrome (tested both and certs were fine - also tested on Windows 10) so it is safe to say there is still an issue in this area.
