Wikipedia popups not working, this time on updated browser

Hello, Wikipedia popups are not working again.
It’s described here Wikipedia popups not working only this time my browser is updated: Version 0.58.18 Chromium: 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Any ideas?

Hello again @Mattches. I’m on Windows 10.
This was working before, I really don’t know what has changed that made it stop working. I tried disabling some extensions and Brave shields too, but unsuccessfully.

Following @Mattches advice in this thread about a Netflix problem I deleted All time:

  • Cookies and other site data
  • Cached images and files
  • Content settings
  • Hosted app data
  • Media licenses

and Wikipedia popups started working.
