  2. go to brave menu -->extensions —> look for wikipedia search extension and click on details button below it --> toggle “Allow in Private”.
  3. in normal tab(non-incognito) go to address bar and type wiki and then space, the extension shows the icon and you can search with suggestions appearing below
    4. now open private tab and repeat the same steps and nothing happens, just the word ‘wiki’ on the address bar.

Additional Information:

Hello @freddie_freeloader,

It’s not a solution for the extension not working, but did you tried Keyword search? No extension required, and work for any search engine. https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017479752-How-do-I-set-my-default-search-engine-

i am aware of it. the advantage with the extension is it shows suggestions while i’m typing.
