When using the browser-based version of Microsoft Teams, outgoing microphone audio is full of static.
This issue can be reproduced by:
- Signing in at https://teams.microsoft.com
- Opening the Teams ‘Calls’ tab in the left navigation bar
- Selecting the call settings menu option in the bottom left corner
- Selecting the Device settings menu option in the sub-menu that appears
- Selecting ‘Make a test call’ and hearing your microphone playback full of static

Additional Information:
Testing the same audio input and output device settings on Firefox and Edge returns clear audio results. Additionally, Audacity and Discord desktop apps return clear audio results.
