Despite (or because of) acceleration being turned off, web video will still occlude when covered by a previously dominant window. When coming back to the window with the video, it will briefly show a preserved freeze-frame of the video before catching back up. This issue is not a big deal for most websites, but then there’s Picarto. Because Picarto can run multiple streams on one page, this effect leads to the window tanking, requiring me to refresh, which tanks the connection briefly.
