Watching ad free Youtube on my TV via app (Apple TV / LG's webOS etc)

@Mattches Hey, I was wondering if your team could find the time to work on some apps that let us watch content, especially ad-free YouTube, on our TVs. It would really improve the experience on a bigger screen! Right now, casting from my phone is such a hassle, I don’t bother. With disconnections and it’s just clunky navigation, having to work with the phone not playing well and just being an all round unintuitive experience.
Having a dedicated app would make things so much easier, letting us use a remote to navigate. :star_struck: :smiley:

pls :wink: I’m sure there’s a lot of people out there that would agree, and most likely your team included…?

+I’m wondering if it’s something that’s already been seriously considered, coming up? Or why it might be difficult to implement for any reasons not obvious to end users?

If possible, apps on platforms that support AppleTV, LG’s webOS etc would be awesome :v:t3:

I think this would be a great feature and I know it’s been discussed before. That said, I do not believe that we have anything in the works for this at this time. That doesn’t mean that it won’t ever get made, but we have several current projects and goals that take priority. We do appreciate your support and hope to be able to bring you this, among other, fun features in the future.
