Visual bug with multiple tabs selected when vertical tabs enabled

Description of the issue:

Selecting multiple tabs with shift button (e.g. to add 10 tabs in a group at once) works, but selected tabs do not show as selected visually (like when one tab is selected, with a slightly darker squared background around tab’s favicon).

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Latest MacOS and Brave browser version
  2. Open multiple tabs
  3. Try selecting them

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Screenshots can’t be taken without unselecting multiple tabs.

Expected result:

Show multiple selected tabs visually when vertical tabs enabled (with slightly darker squared background around tab’s favicon).

Reproduces how often:

N/A

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): macOS 13.5.2 and Brave Version 1.58.129 Chromium: 117.0.5938.88 (Official Build) (arm64)

Thank you all for reporting. Looks like I can reproduce this on my end as well however it does appear to be fixed in the Beta build which means whatever needed to be implemented was already done and will just need to ride the rails until it reaches release. Behavior of Beta version shown below:

That said I do think the additionally selected tabs could be a little darker as it’s still kind of hard to see. Will mention this to the team.
