Cannot see that tabs are selected, when Windows 11 Mica activated

Description of the issue:

  • Selecting multiple tabs is possible in the Brave browser. But you just can’t see that the tabs have been marked/selected if you have Mica activated.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use the latest Windows Brave Browser with Windows 11 and activate the flag “Windows 11 Mica titlebar”

Expected result:
It should be possible to select several tabs and to see the tabs selected.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
v1.73.104 (Dec 19, 2024)

Additional Information:
Brave standard design/theme must be activated

@Migo ,

So . . . you probably can select 1 tab, but you would like to be able to select - at the same instant - 2 or more tabs.

Do you consider that a feature request?

Or, not being able to select 2 or more tabs, is now a “bug report” - because you previously could?

Not a feature request - I think it’s a bug and depends on the Brave default design or the implementation of the Mica feature - in Google Chrome it is flawless. This should be reworked inside the Brave Browser.

@Migo ,

OK, good for Brave Support / Brave developers to know:

Selecting 2 or more tabs - at the same instant - already works in Google Chrome, given the conditions (Windows 11 Mica) you stated.

Selecting multiple tabs is possible in the Brave browser. You just can’t see that the tabs have been marked/selected, if you have Mica activated.

Please don’t misunderstand: selecting multiple tabs is possible in the Brave browser. You just can’t see that the tabs have been marked/selected if you have Mica activated.

@Migo

I updated my previous reply.

You might consider changing the title of your Original Post. Maybe something like:

Cannot see that tabs are selected, when Windows 11 Mica activated

(And, adjust your original description, to be more precise.)

Unfortunately, no one from the Brave team has confirmed this error yet? :frowning:
