I have the same build of Brave on two machines (Version 1.46.144 Chromium: 108.0.5359.128)
When I look up my passwords (Settings>Autofill) on one, I’m only asked for my Windows password; for the other, both password and User Name. (a) Why? (b) How can I turn off the User Name request.
Hello @Eyesnotchops, thank you for reaching us out. I believe it is actually a Chrome authentication check. When you create your windows account you can also set up with a pin, so you wont have to enter username and password.
Most browsers only ask for your Windows logon password as security measure when you wish to view a password or download your entire browser password data. This a Windows security feature that’s available to all programs. Hope this helps. Regards
