I visited peppertype.ai just the other day (all day) without any issues. Today when attempting to visit the site I’ve received the message:
This site can’t provide a secure connection
app.peppertype.ai uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Why can’t I visit the site? It has https. How can I bypass this? This site is crucial to my business. Please advise.
Can you try visiting the site and turning Shields down to test and see if this resolves the issue?
thank you for your prompt response. I took Shields down and the page attempted to load. I was able to see the site logo and no error message from Brave, but then I got a message that “We are sorry for the inconvenience. Something went wrong.” It seems like it’s a problem on their end but I’m not sure. I’ve never experienced that problem and haven’t received any emails today that their site is down. I’ll email them to see if they are having problems. Thank you for your help.
I attempt to view again with Shields down and I received the original message insecure connection and unsupported protocol.

Can you share the link to the site you’re seeing this on? Additionally, can you please tell me what Brave version you’re using (Menu --> About Brave) as well as what OS?

I think the issue is on the site’s side. I was seeing the same error on both macOS and Windows. Additionally, I saw it appear in Chrome and Firefox as well. However, I just checked again and now the site appears to load without issue. Can you check again and tell me if you see the same thing?
