Description of the issue:
I cannot add another Desktop device to my sync chain. The instructions indicate that there should be a “I have a Sync Code” button but I do not have a button like this showing up.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Go to brave://settings/braveSync/setup
- Click Add New Device
- Copy the Sync Chain Code
- On the second device, go to brave://settings/braveSync/setup
- Here I should be able to click “I have a Sync Code” but this does not appear anywhere
There should be a button or link titled “I have a Sync Code” to join an existing sync chain.

I have both a Windows and Mac device and on both of these there seems to be no way to join an existing sync chain.
