Unable to add favorites to new tab page / home screen

Hello all,
I am running a brave 1.15 (20.03.05.14), on iphone x with ios 13.3. The new tab page is not allowing me to add icons. Previously holding finger down in blank space on new tab page would give me option to add a “favorite” which would create a clickable icon on new tab page. I created three this way, when trying to add more now I am unable to.
Please Advise,

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Open New Tab
2. Holding finger down in blank space yields no result
3. holding finger down on existing favorite gives option to edit/remove, but not add

There’s a limit when you have background image enabled for NTP. Can you try disable it and re-try?
