Twitter Push Notifications are no longer working in Brave Browser

Description of the issue:
Two days ago, push notifications from X /Twitter were working. Since last Brave update(yesterday, Version 1.71.114), no more notifications are pushed to my desktop (Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS)

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
1.
Have an account with X
2. In Pop!_OS, Go to Settings > Notifications, have notifications for Brave enabled
3. On Pop!_OS desktop, find date/time widget, click on it, then look for “Do Not Disturb” setting (lower left corner in my window), disable it.
4. Launch Brave
5. Go to Settings > Privacy and Security, find “Use Google services for push messaging”, then enable it.
6. On same page find “Sites and Shields Settings”, click on it, verify that Brave allows notifications from X.
7. Go to account on X, have push notifications enabled on X
8. On X, make sure you have at least one account followed and marked for notification
9. Wait for notifications to appear on X timeline and Pop!_OS desktop.

Actual Result (GIFs and screenshots are welcome!):
Despite seeing alert on X about new posts from followed accounts, no notifications are pushed to the desktop.

Expected Result :
From time to time, notifications from X accounts that I have followed and marked for notification should pop up on desktop of Pop!_OS.

Reproduces how often:
Always

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Version 1.71.114 Chromium: 130.0.6723.70 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes

Additional information:

Disabling shields didn’t have any effect.

My laptop, which has same version of Pop!_OS, was working until I installed various updates this morning, one of which was Brave version 1.71.114.

On my desktop, I tried running X / Twitter in Firefox, and notifications work.

Have updated release browser to version 1.71.118, and beta browser to version 1.72.87, but still won’t post notifications.

Installed Chromium version 130.0.6723.58 (Official Build) (64-bit), but won’t post notifications. Latest Brave installed on desktop is
Version 1.71.118 Chromium: 130.0.6723.70

I just installed and ran an older version of Brave (1.70.117 Chromium: 129.0.6668.59 (Official Build) (64-bit) ).

Push notifications from X / Twitter are now working again. Latest version of Brave seems to have a bug.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with Version 1.71.114 or later?

Brave Beta version 1.72.87 doesn’t resolve the issue either.

Installed Chromium version 130.0.6723.58 (Official Build) (64-bit), but won’t post notifications. Latest Brave installed on desktop is
Version 1.71.118 Chromium: 130.0.6723.70

Is this a Chromium issue instead of a Brave issue?

This push notification issue appears to be caused by Brave’s underlying browser core, Chromium.

I found this bug report at Google Chrome Help forum:

Apologies for the lack of reply here. I have forwarded this information to the team for review to see if there is anything we can do on our end or if this will have to wait for an upstream fix.

Thanks, @Mattches. I am eager to here something. This bug is partly responsible for my mysterious permanent suspension from X. I am currently appealing the suspension.
