Turn off automatic search in address bar

When I type in a url Brave automatically searches rather than going to the url, how do I change that?

The browser should only be searching if you’re not entering an exact site address or if the format is off. For example:

  • If you type in brave.com into the address bar, you should then be taken to the website.
  • If you type in brave .com, the browser will search for the terms.

Can you confirm that you’re using the correct address/formatting? Additionally, if you are, does this happen for any/all websites you try?
