I know the answer is right there in Brave. The dream seeking fulfillment by this thread is the knowledge of how to activate the Brave feature that generates a lighweight popup showing the url associated with a bookmark dropped down from hovering over a bookmark found in the in the bookmarks toolbar.
Clicking the image is a perfectly acceptable way to expand the image to full size. I checked with Social media censors to verify that while not encouraged, it is ok to let you you know. Expanding to full size view increases the likelihood that details will not be too small to see.
