Feedback on a small, but very noticeable UI issue.
When the flag #brave-web-view-rounded-corners is turned off, Brave creates a really thick divider below the address bar which is really unsightly.
The divider line should be just enough that it creates some separation between the website content and the address bar should they have very similar colors. Chrome does this perfectly IMO.
When in Vertical Tab mode, you can see this thick and very prominent divider not only on the address bar at the top, but on the left side where the tabs are as well. You can also see that the divider at the top keeps running across the vertical line for the tabs sidebar all the way to the edge of the browser which doesn’t look good in general, but also looks very busy. Something to note is that I don’t remember always being the case. I’m pretty sure this was introduced fairly recently.
The divider should be thinner or have lowered opacity, or both. Should almost be invisible. Like I said, I think it should be just enough to create some separation between the main content and the address bar when the main content has a similar background background color to the address bar (important in light mode as well). Please look to Chrome or Chromium for how this is done as it’s done perfectly there.
Lastly, it would be fantastic if there were no rounded corners while tabs are in horizontal tab mode — content goes al the way to the edge of the browser, and when in vertical tab mode, you’d put the rounded corners on as that does look much better while in vertical tab mode.
