Unfortunately I’m not young anymore and my eyes are not what they used to be, but I have to say that “disconnecting” the [TAB] from the page into a “floating” button in the top bar and in a slighter shade (dark mode) works quite poorly and find myself really annoyed with this “cool” feature when you have 29 tabs open at once. Simply impossible to pick out at the top (unfortunately I cannot include a screenshot)
Please make it back to a connected tab or at least increase the difference, 20%, in colour shade
Thank you, very, very pleased otherwise, BRAVE is the best imho
I use Brave Browser > Private Browsing [mode], and there is no find boundary indicator anywhere around the top of the windows (3 windows in the following screenshot):
Design nerdery incoming: I prefer the disconnected tab because it really helps with the overall alignment of the tab titles along a horizontal plane. When the active tab connects with the lower portion, it creates some weird negative space at the bottom that appears to “push” the tab name up higher than other tabs.
But more contrast to indicate the active tab would be great!
