There appears to be a problem with thumbnails on Linux

Description of the issue: The thumbnails for some websites are a bit distorted.
Occurs on the home page and in the Brave Rewards window.

So first thing I would try is to check and see if Hardware Acceleration is on (and disable it if so). Option is located in Settings --> Advanced --> System
