Uphold blocked my funds. Recently, I submitted a new review request, and they decided to close my account. Additionally, they refuse to refund the funds, accusing me of obtaining BATs fraudulently. How can I resolve this?
@ThiagoHenrique I highly doubt they said anything about you obtaining BAT fraudulently, especially if you only had been earning from Rewards. It could be possible they detected some fraudulent activity on your account if you were doing any other types of transactions. Or it tends to be issues relating to KYC/AML, of either a person submitting wrong information or even refusing to submit details.
I would be curious to see the conversation, in their exact words.
In any case, Brave and Uphold are two different companies. If Uphold has closed your account due to fraud or other issues, there’s not really anything that people here can do to help you.
I suppose the best next step for you would be to reset your Rewards and wait for on-chain to become available. Either that or try seeing if you can get any further assistance from Uphold themselves.
