The Tor window crashes before accessing the website

Hello,

Here is the context of the crash:

I open a regular Brave window everything is fine at that point. Then I open a private window using Tor, the connection goes through. I enter my website’s address, hit enter, and two seconds later, everything crashes.

If I choose a favorite from my taskbar, it crashes too.

It’s possible that this is due to the new update, as I didn’t have this issue in the past few days.

Update : I tried to use Git Bash but nothing displayed in the terminal.

Brave 1.80.113 crashes when opening a Tor private window on Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100.4351). Regular windows work fine. Issue started after recent update—anyone else experiencing this? catmeowing

I have had exactly the same problem since today, yesterday it was still running without any problems.

Facing the same issue after the update. As soon as you click on a website or use a direct link to the website, Brave crashes.

Close Brave and reopen it to see the updated status of the report — it should say “uploaded crash report ID”. This is the ID they are requesting. :slight_smile:

I would add that there are no any extentions active.
I can open any site when creating new user and then opening a private window(not a guest, just a normal user)
if i pause while site is still loading, it looks working, but when i let it load fully, it crashes evrething including non-private windows.

same problem w/ 1.80.115 - I can search w/ DDG but Brave crashes when clicking on any link
