I am using brave from quiet a while bet not receiving any bat after seeing ads.

sorry you re finding the article hard to understand. Without the detailed information it suggests you provide in the bug report, it will be very hard for anyone to offer you any meaningful help. Yes this works. I receive the wallpaper ads too, but the counter on the homepage widget does not increment.
I fully understand your problem…make sure the zone or region is set correctly on your PC (go to Windows settings to check) and that it is compatible with your IP address…remember to set the correct time too… .once you enter all these data correctly, the system will synchronize (this could take a few hours) and should send ads and of course increase the bats in the counter…good luck! 
@OMGplayz You will need help of someone from the support team. If you don’t mind loosing your current earnings, resetting your wallet should also work.
And always beneficial to fill in Template (also available in the editor itself) while creating a topic.
