Tabs replaced with search goose

I have Brave set to continue with the same tabs from before when I relaunch Brave. Occasionally, at random times, all my tabs are replaced with a blank search goose page. I’ve never heard of search goose, it is not installed on my computer, and it is not listed on my chosen search engines on Brave. Has anyone had any similar experience? Honestly sounds like you ended up installing an extension that is changing things or you ended up with some sort of malware…perhaps both (an extension that is a malware)

I’d run Malwarebytes to see if it finds any issues. You can also try a Safety Check at brave://settings/privacy to see if it finds any issues.
