Description of the issue:
This is only noticeable with a pretty slow rtt, but if I use the address bar to google something, there’s a favicon that appears before google’s logo with the letters ZK:
This happens on any network, only in the brave browser and only when using the address bar. Does anyone know what this is? It doesn’t look like the java framework logo and I can’t find anything else.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Set google as default search engine
Open a new tab in group

The “ZK” favicon may be related to a feature or bug in the Brave browser itself. Sometimes, browser developers implement or test features that might inadvertently show up in unexpected ways. It could be a quirk related to how Brave integrates with search engines or how it handles search requests. This might be more noticeable on slower network connections due to timing issues with rendering.
If you have any extensions or customizations installed in Brave, they could be affecting how favicons are displayed. Disable all extensions to see if the issue persists.
There might be a problem with the browser cache or some temporary files that are causing this unusual display. Clearing the cache and restarting the browser might help.
