Spell check not working in (Web) Outlook for MacOS

Brave v 1.52.130 on Mac OS

I activated Spell Check in Brave MacOS but in some Web base email platforms it doesn’t work very well o not at all. Specifically in Web based MS Outlook (Office 365 version) I am not even getting the underlining of the misspelled word.

Oddly for this message I am currently typing, the Spell check works OK, but not in Outlook, which I use for work every day.

Is there something i am not doing correctly, or does Spell Check simply not work with some email platforms?
