@skullamuka Are you irritated because of the header or did you want to see View Original back as the link to return to the original article? Part of having that header there is to allow for turning off speedreader for that particular site and to control some of the options, plus we’ll be adding things like text to speech and summarization. We can always add an option to hide the bar if that’s what you don’t want to see.
Speedreader is not very useful without the date. One of the most important signals is the published date, esp for news articles, and without that I simply cannot use. So everytime I end up turning off Speedreader, which is a shame. Please consider parsing & displaying the published date as well.
How do I turn speedreader back on if I’ve turned it off for a site? The icon in the search / address bar no longer displays.
