Some websites loading incorrectly

Hello, I’ve been having a problem with Brave.
I reinstalled windows 10 fresh since when I got this PC I just shifted the drives over and I needed to do a fresh install to allow it to run more smoothly.

At first, Brave was working fine when I installed it. but randomly I noticed Twitter stopped loading properly.
I then noticed it was doing it with some other sites too, such as Patreon.com and Linktr.ee
I recorded a video of my issue to show my problem, but basically all elements of the page are loaded strangely. the whole thing is white with some text and search box elements scattered on the left side of the screen ,separated by GIANT vectors for the buttons.
You’ll see what I mean in the video. This is exactly the same thing for other sites too not jsut Twitter.

HOWEVER it is only a small handful of sites that do this, and other websites are totally fine. For the affected sites, this problem occurs 100% of the time. Refreshing the page does not fix the issue. Reloading the browser does not fix the issue. Restarting the computer does not fix the issue. Clearing browsing data (history and cache) does not fix the issue.

The websites also work perfectly fine on other browsers such as Edge and Chrome, it is only Brave that is affected and only for those mentioned websites (though there may be more which I don’t frequent.)

I have not yet tried: reinstalling brave, clearing cookies cache (as I’d like to avoid that if at all possible).

There is no reason I can think of why those particular websites are affected and not others, yet they work fine on other browsers.

Any help is appreciated thanks.

Does disabling Brave Shields resolve the issue?

Ah sorry I forgot to mention the shields.
Just tried again and no, turning the shields off did not have an effect.

Try with a fresh user profile:

Try in private mode, no extensions enabled. seems something is interfering with the CSS. @FluffyXai

Ah I didn’t know about that before or I would have tried it. Though I’ve re-enabled all the xtensions I had before (I think) and I am no longer having the problem after I made a new user profile. It just meant having to copy over all my tabs and bookmarks and apps and other things. Which was a bit of a hassle, but now things seem to work properly
