Slack not working

Slack app window has no text content.

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
No. Shields were already turned off for this site.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
Not obviously.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
I do not have Chrome or Chromium installed. It works correctly with Firefox.

Brave version (check About Brave):
Version 1.71.123 Chromium: 130.0.6723.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)

It also works in Chromium. I just installed it and logged in.
In Brave, refreshing the cache with ctrl-shift-r does not work either.

@ajoneslucendi,
Can you please tell me what OS you’re using at this time? Slack is working for me on macOS and Win10 systems. Can you please try opening a Guest profile in Brave (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile), close your original profile window, then try logging in and using Slack in the Guest profile?

It is Ubuntu 20.04. Sorry for slow reply. Guest mode worked. How do I fix it not in Guest mode?

First, I would encourage you to update the browser to the latest build (v1.73.91 at the time of writing this). Then if you still see the Slack issue, I would recommend clearing all cache/site data for Slack and test again.

Thanks it is working now. Latest version fixed it. I didn’t realize it was not uptodate.
