SIGSEGV when accessing Slack

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. When I try to access my Slack workspace ( I get “Aw, Snap! … Error code: SIGSEGV”, see picture.

Expected result: Site loads normally

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.60.118 Chromium: 119.0.6045.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Works just fine in Chrome (Version 119.0.6045.159 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and Firefox (120.0).

Rebooting machine does not help.

No problem accessing, only workspaces.

This curiously resolved itself this morning, “solution” was to leave the computer alone during the night…

And it’s back. Coincidentally this is about the time that my Slack notifications are turned off automatically (sleep mode), so I tried turning them back on, but no luck, problem persists.

Inspired by this answer I turned off the Dark Reader extension (extension is enabled, but dark mode is off), this seems to have done the trick. This issue can be closed.
