Sidebar feature requests when using vertical tabs

Hi, I’ve been using the vertical tabs feature in Brave and I have a couple of suggestions:

  1. Complete Sidebar Hiding: Currently, when you hide the sidebar (called Toggle vertical tabs expanded in shortcuts) that contains the vertical tabs, the tab icons remain visible. I think an option to fully hide the sidebar, icons tab included, would make the browser more focused on the content.

  2. Window-Specific Sidebar Control: When you hide the sidebar in one window, it automatically hides in all open windows of Brave. This isn’t always ideal, especially when working across multiple monitors with different needs. For example, one might need the sidebar open on a main monitor for browsing, while keeping it hidden on another monitor playing a video. I think adding an option for enabling sidebar toggling on a per-window basis would improve flexibility.
