Search result disappear

Description of the issue:
When I create a new tab after a while, type something in the search bar and hit enter, the result and the text in the search bar disappear. All I see is the new tab I created.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Don’t create any new tabs for a while
  2. Write something in the search bar (VERY FAST)
  3. Hit enter (VERY FAST)

Expected result:
The result should show up in a Google page.
