Briefly describe your issue:
I have been using brave for a long time and my BAT in the browser had been slowly building up but randomly every once in a while all of it disappears as if I never used brave ever, I hadn’t redeemed the BAT either it just goes away

That could be your issue, if you’re talking about “earned BAT.” Keep in mind even with vBAT, you had to claim it each month or it would go away after 90 days. So if you never redeemed/claimed it, then it would vanish.

they haven’t gotten rid of vBAT yet. So if you had any you earned in the browser, it should still be there. That said, if you’re looking to see BAT increase now and you’re not connected to Uphhold or Gemini, then you can’t earn BAT. This was announced many times. You can also see article written at https://brave.com/rewards-changes/

This means connected to Uphold or Gemini. If you say you don’t know, then the chances are it means no.
