Reward pop ups do not open a web page

Description of the issue:
I get Rewards pop-ups and I think I am getting Bat when I click on them, but when I click on them, Brave opens Dissenter instead of the appropriate web page.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Click on a Rewards Pop-up
  2. It should open the advertised web-page

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

  1. Click on a Rewards Pop-up
  2. Brave opens up Dissenter

Expected result:
I expect it to open the advertised web page when I click on the pop-up

Reproduces how often:
Dissenter opens every time I click on a Rewards pop-up

what you mean it open dissenter ?
do you mean it open the other browser with the page of ads or open the website of dissenter

It opens the Dissenter app to the Brave sign-in page

not sure if there extention that do this so try to disable all and maybe the dissneter is set to default browser that why it act like that but i am not sure

Thank you! I couldn’t find an app that opened Dissenter by default, so I removed the Dissenter app and it now works properly
