"Region not supported" message after one year receiving rewards

I have been receiving my rewards for over a year and this is the first time I get this message. I am in Mexico.

Keep in mind that the unsupported region is referencing that they have stopped allowing Users to connect to Uphold or Gemini in those regions. It doesn’t disconnect people if they were already linked to Gemini or Uphold. Therefore, your computer would be linked if you did it before Brave stopped supporting the country but your other devices wouldn’t be able to connect because you tried to do it after. Also, it means when your computer does get disconnected, it won’t be able to connect again. (Disconnects every 90-120 days on average)

In short, your country isn’t supported right now. It likely will be added again here by the end of the year, but we are waiting to see what’s happening. (And there’s a lot of articles & posts on this if you would have taken your time to search for answers)

yesterday I have just received the rewards of august 2022, I can log into uphold perfectly but not into Brave.
I got confused and thought about a system error.

All good, sorry if I came across snippy at all. We keep getting people who rush in and post here about the error. It gets tiring and a bit annoying to see it, especially when it shows up in Google searches or you can find it by searching Brave Community. Seems like the default action for everyone is to just jump here and post about it.

I just keep trying to answer people but also hoping to encourage enough that we can get more searching first, that way people with issues that can be resolved don’t get lost. In any case, Brave is trying to add most countries back by the end of the year. We’ll see if they manage to pull it off earlier, on-time, or a bit later than anticipated.
