Refund for unused poor Brave VPN

I was trying to use VPN the other day to access some content in my home country but the Brave VPN was detected so it wouldn’t let me use it, therefore I was unable to use it in free trial and now it’s charged me, how can I get a refund as it’s not up to standard and is useless to me? Can’t see any contact support option other than posting here.
