Referral download not always working

Hi,

I have a YouTube Channel where I publicised Brave using my referral link.
I know of at least 5 people that downloaded the Brave Browser using my referral link and regularly use it, However in my Brave publishers dashboard, it only shows 3 people have downloaded it.
Why is that?
I’m concerned that if this is the problem just with the ones whom I know regularly use it, then what about those who downloaded it but I don’t know about them?
