Recently updated Brave, all BAT disappeared. Uphold is linked and earned BAT still appear in past statements, yet nowhere to be seen

As title states, all BAT is gone. BAT didn’t get transferred to Uphold and just vanished after updating. Never looked into the Brave wallet and security keys as I didn’t know they existed for the browser. Any chance I get it back or should I start fresh? Also haven’t seemed to earn any BAT for almost a year now so wondering how to earn again.
