Problem with bank website saving a card number

When I go to my banking website, there is a checkbox under where I enter my bank card # which says “Remember my card”. I check it off then enter my login info to log in. When I leave and come back, it does not save the card #. It does offer the option save both the card and the password, but I don’t want that. I just want it to save the card #. This is the only reason I haven’t made a 100% switch to Brave, because this won’t work. I have the same problem for 2 different banks.
