Printing Options: Portrait to Landscape

I’ve switched to Brave from MS Edge at work and when I need to print documents from my Dymo label printer on Shipstation, the option to turn the 4x6 Label on its side (landscape mode) is not present. I believe this is why my company was using Edge browser, to accommodate this Dymo printer and it’s orientation with the way it prints labels. The Portrait/Landscape mode works if I try to print from this page, however it is not available when printing from Paypal’s Shipstation site.

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Open Brave, proceed to shipstation.com
2.Create a label and when you go to print landscape/portrait not present
3.

**Expected result: I just need to rotate my label on its side and set the scale to 85% so I can get the most out of the 4x6 label. Not sure why this option is not present on Shipstation.com.

**Brave Version( check About Brave): v1.47.171

**Additional Information: Additionally, the Portrait/Landscape feature is not present when printing on Ebay as well.

Does it work when you select a different printer? Could you try also with Chrome?
Because I can see the portrait/landscape in any of these websites.

It could be a problem with the printer driver. Brave simply relies on what the printer drivers offer.

Hmm that’s odd. Because yes I can see Layout option when trying to print from this page but not on Ebay or Shipstation…

Chrome is also not displaying Landscape/Portrait when trying to print from the .pdf so for now all I am able to do is browse with Brave then when I need a label I copy the .pdf address and paste it in MS Edge to be able to print correctly.

I’ll have to do some testing on the other PCs on the network to see if those are behaving the same way.

@mdbb805 hello there could you please try opening your main profile in private or guest mode to see if the issue persist? If it does not, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.

You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menuOpen Guest window:

  1. On your computer, open Brave.
  2. At the top right, click MenuMore toolsExtensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.

Let me know if that works.

I have not downloaded any extensions, My brave browser is free of extensions there are none listed.

To better explain what is happening: I don’t need to change the layout when printing labels on Ebay because Ebay orientates the label to be Vertical or Portrait. When I print through Shipstation on any browser, the orientation of the label is always on its side or in Landscape and to get the biggest print or to use as much space on the label as possible I need to scale it to 85%. Anything higher the label gets cut off.

Does that work on a different chromium based browser apart from Chrome, Brave and Edge?
