Pop ups and redirects are still happening using Audrascans (yes, I know it’s a bad website but I’m still looking for a replacement) even when turned to aggressive, and I can’t find anything else in settings
- Go to asura scans
- Turn on the filters I turned on(
)
- Click next chapter a couple of times
The links send you to random websites like Spotify or Amazon (I can only attach four pictures since I’m new)
I expected no pop ups or redirects
It happens 60-75% of the time whenever I tap anything
I am on Version 1.76 (77)
If you have any other websites that are better than asura scans then feel free to recommend them!
@KaiTheFry I’m using comick.io which is an aggregator site, but they work with the others. So far it’s been very friendly with Shields and the developer is pretty active over on Discord.
I essentially use https://www.kenmei.co/ to keep track of all my manhwa/manga as it alerts when new chapters are available. And then have been using Comick to read the majority of them.
Kenmei isn’t needed if you don’t want it, but figured you might like it if you weren’t aware. It’s an awesome tool for tracking things watched, dropped, on hold, etc. Especially if you happen to use multiple sources to read content.

Thank you for the recommendation! Kenmei will help me so much too since my way of “sorting” is just keeping them on different tabs
Btw, @KaiTheFry what did you end up deciding to do? Have you been finding both of the sites I shared hopeful or have you gone to something else?
I’m currently rereading solo leveling on comick.to, and transferring all the manhwas I read into it. I’m planning on using https://www.kenmei.co/ , but my laziness is getting the best of me

All good. I’ve just always try to keep my ear to the ground on different websites and to see what people think. It’s kind of like I never would have expected the recent behavior from Asura. But from what I’m hearing they’ve been deleting comments in different places, banning people from Discord and all, keep getting more aggressive on advertising, etc. It’s almost like they’ve been hacked or something if you asked me.
But with all the constant drama I definitely would not be doing anything to support them. If they had kept up as they had been for years I definitely would’ve sent the money again like I have in the past. But typically when we see things like this happen it’s the beginning of the end for that group.
Anyway, since things always change I always like to see if people found anything better than I’m aware of. Hopefully all goes well
