Asura Comics invisible ads

An issue has cropped up on asuracomics.net where you’re getting an aggressive invisible Ad or URL redirect on pressing the next button or sometimes just clicking on a page.

It’s weird and incredibly malicious. And the content filters I have on such as Fanboy’s don’t seem to block it.

I have a Custom filter I grabbed from the forums here that helps block an ridiculous giant banner ad

asuracomic.net###header-ads
asuracomic.net###main-menu-ads
asuracomic.net##div#a[href*=“/subscription”]

Any addition to this list to block this URL redirect ads or other solutions would be appreciated.

Note: Found some proper Adware links that keep getting triggered on desktop once I shut off adblock “https://ishibernate.com/b686b0074d05dc5d58b2691bbd7f981c/invoke.js” This is triggering Antivirus as an Adware.

@Kronos202 if you change Shields to Aggressively block trackers & ads does this help at all?

cc @fanboynz

@Mattches First thing I tried, didn’t make a difference. The only thing that has an effect so far is block scripts but then it stops the content of site from loading

I have this same issue but it’s been sending me to you YouTube videos, Amazon links, and weirdly a text saying Help Drago or something along those lines

Exactly that, it’s getting really damned annoying.

Currently its down for me, is still an issue?

Moin, wie sieht das bei einem Android Mi aus ?

@fanboynz all the ones I just tested now there was no ads that popped up. The only thing that’s happening is when we open up chapters I can see their little thing start to flash up and then be dismissed. It shows on the screen maybe one or two seconds at most.

But compared to the other one where it was doing a lot of real shady stuff it’s seeming better

@Kronos202 you noticing it clearer for you as well?

Yeah it’s clearer now. Whatever voodoo magic fanboynz did worked.

No more shady invisible ads have popped up on the site. The banner ad for the subscription has a work around custom filter I put in the OP, so even that is stopped
