Description of the issue:
When I want to download a file that is opened with the browser, let’s say a pptx presentation from a professor, I press the three dots on the top left of the browser → share with → save on File.
The file is downloaded to the correct location but its size is smaller than the real value (between 4kb and 30kb), and the file will be corrupted.
The issue seem related only to the mobile version of the app.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Just by downloading any pdf or PowerPoint file
Expected result:
The file will be partially downloaded (I suppose). The final file will be between 4-30 kb.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.74 (49).
Mobile Device details
The problem occur both on iPhone and iPad. Respectively with iOS 18.3.1 and iOS 18.3.
Additional Information:
Looking if the same issue was reported by other users, it appears that this problem exist (at least) since 2019, and all threads are now closed due to the lack of answer. I hope this problem will be resolved.
The same file via Safari is downloaded correctly.
