Payment methods are not syncing across devices even though on both devices, “Sync everything” is selected

I’ve opened payment method settings on both devices (MacBook and MSFT laptop) and refreshed screens.

This is definitely a problem. One day I noticed after a new installation of Windows that all my payment methods from Sync disappeared. I had to go to my older SSD and recover them. I restored them and re-enabled sync, instead of fixing across my devices, it just made all my payment methods disappear again! This is beyond frustrating. I have to sync everything but payment methods after recovering them on my desktop.
When I go to input my payment info on my laptop it says “This card will be saved to this device only” which makes me think this is an intentional design with no intent to do anything about it. To note, it’s a bad design choice. I don’t want to sit here and input my payment info individually on each device (especially not my mobile devices) and then again on each device one at a time if a card ever changes. I may just go back to Chrome, this is way too fiddly to have to deal with and too many surprises when I am away from my main computer.
Sorry, you’re right. My reasoning was likely faulty in expecting that, if Brave stored XYZ, sync everything meant is was all of XYZ; I should’ve checked first to realize everything actually meant XY; my bad.
