I have just purchased a new Windows 11 Laptop and installed the latest brave software. I cannot import my old password file. I have looked in brave://flags and there is no reference whatsoever to Importing passwords. Can you help please.
Did you try looking at Password Manager?
You’ll see on the left that there are two options. Passwords and Settings. It defaults to Passwords which is where you can see and edit your passwords. Then the Settings part where you can import/export and change various settings related to your password manager.
I have done that and I get the following:
"Something went wrong
Can’t import passwords. Check Brave Passwords.csv and make sure that it’s formatted correctly. Learn more"
There is supposed to be ://brave/flag to switch on the ability to import passwords but I can’t see it. Am I doing something wrong?
