Paid for a subscription to BiteDefender but it doesnt work with Brave browser?

I admit, Im not very tech savvy and it wasnt a smart thing to do, but my McAffee subscription was about to expire so I paid for a Year Subscription to BiteDefender and removed McAffee only to find out I cant even download this new one, let alone install it. I should have kept McAffee for the remaining time I had left.

Questions before I call tomorrow morning for a refund…Is there a way to download it using Brave or no?
Im wondering if I should use the FireFox browser just to get it downloaded/installed but then continue using Brave?
Do I really need it for the Brave browser since you offer firewall support?
