Page Lag and Freezing

I noticed Thursday, March 12 that when using the Brave browser, pages are getting stuck/frozen after loading, preventing you from being able to see the full page. If you scroll down on a page, it appears to not move for upwards of 5 seconds, and when it does move you see parts of the previous section of the page you were looking at. This was replicated on all sites visited while using the browser.

Expect Brave to be responsive, no lag, clear page view.

Hey @TRM2019 Does it occur on certain sites? is still happening now?

Could you try a new Brave profile as a test?

I tried another profile, but get the same results.

So far google search shows no change, but other than that every other site I visit is affected. Particularly if they have a slider or animation on their site.

I noticed that brave does not work well with anti-viruses. I had avast cleaner and the pages crashed. It works better after removal.
