Opening New Tab Soon Turns Into A Google Search Tab

Description of the issue:
Whenever I press my MMB, it opens sites in a new tab, for example, if I press MMB on a YouTube video link, it opens it in a new tab, but then it turns the tab into a Google search tab 5 seconds later, I do not know why. I updated Brave too.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Press MMB on a link
2.wait for it to open
3.seconds later it turns into a Google Search Tab

Expected result:
Not turning into a google search tab

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.73.91 Chromium: 131.0.6778.85

yes, when I click on one of the YouTube.com links and open them in a new tab using MMB (my shortcut to opening links in new tabs) it turns into a google search tab shortly after. It doesn’t happen each time, however. It probably happens every 1 in 15 times.

And, when you searched as described in my previous reply, did you enter the search keywords (aka search criteria) in the Brave Search field

or in the Brave Browser URL address field?

No, I did not do this. I was already in YouTube.com, and I wanted to open a few videos I thought were interesting, in a new tab, however most of them turned into google search tabs shortly after.

It’s now doing it to tabs that have already been opened.

EDIT: it only does it for one website.
